Beautiful Conference Weekend

 

If you don't know by now, conference weekend is my favorite time of the year.  I look forward to it so much and even get a bit blue when it's over. Pres. Holland hasn't been in the last 3 conferences due to ill health and the passing of his wife, Pat.  He was the first speaker this conference and I cried the whole way through.  He's so amazing.  Pres. Nelson injured his back about a year ago and has issues ever since so seeing him, Pres. Holland and Pres. Eyring looking so aged was really hard for me.  We are so blessed to be lead by a living prophet and to have such great examples at our head.

  Landen, Kendyl, Ledger joined Katelyn & kids, and Kylie & kids & Dan & I.  Greg was in town with his dad and Clel is in Boston for work                 

Pres. Nelson gave the last talk.  He announced 15 new temples, one being in Edinburgh, Scotland.  Kendyl & Landen were so excited!
I almost think that this might be Pres. Nelson's last conference.  I hope not though

Easter at Karson's & Joy's

 

Our new tradition for the Karl White family is to have our Easter BBQ and egg hunt at Karson's & Joy's home (my brother).  

They live right across the street from mom and dad so it's 

perfect for them since they can be wheeled over.

So much food as always, but sooo yummy and so nice to be together.  All of my siblings were there except for Kerry and Courtney who were celebrating their anniversary.  

A lot of their kiddos came though.

Scattering tons of treats

Kami had the 2-5 year olds go out for a couple of minutes before calling out the older kids.  It was funny to watch.  The youngers walked all around trying to find the candies that they liked most rather than just putting everything in their baskets.

Katelyn's family ended up getting sick so they weren't able to go.

It's always a treat to get photos from family far away.  Loren took scissors to Clara's hair and Shaun & Katie had to do their best to fix it.  She's a fiery cutie no matter what though.

DMDD Daddy Mommy Daughter Dates

Dan and I decided to go out with our girls each month for a Daddy, Mommy, Daughter Date. 
We're always hopeful that Katie and Kari will be able to join us one of these days.  
We each take a turn to choose where to meet.  This time we went to Sakura, a family favorite.
