Axel Burton Anderson

Axel Burton Anderson
 Sept. 29, 2012
4:52 pm
6 lb. 14 oz
18"
A small amount of reddish hair just like his daddy's
Sat. morning on Sept. 29th, we got a call saying that Kylie had been admitted to the hospital to have little Axel.
Dan and I got packed, gave instructions to our kids and left Katelyn to be the mother (amid her school and everything) for a week.

We got there just as she was having Axel so we weren't able to see her until after he was born.
Kylie couldn't stop smiling (of course her epidural was still in affect she hadn't started feeling the pains of after birth yet ;)
And Greg took right over of being a very helpful daddy.
I don't think Kylie had to change a diaper for the first 2 or 3 days.
Greg was awesome!

Little Axel was content to just snuggle by his mom.
He's such a sweetheart!
So proud of Kylie and Greg!

3 Grandsons for us!

DSU "Concert Under the Trees"

Shaun took us on a fun little outing this evening to our favorite place to be....Pine Valley!
The Dixie State University orchestra had a "Concert Under the Trees" and a few of his good friends were in it; most importantly, KateLyn Wall.  It was fabulous and so fun to get out.  We ended up bringing her home with us.  Shaun dated her a while back but things didn't work out.  Hopefully, good things will happen this time around.  We really think a lot of her.

Celebration of FALL!

In celebration of the 1st day of fall, I went out and picked these
And put away these!  YAY!!!!!

We've had a long and blessed harvest this year and I hate to complain, but I'm so glad it's over and I'm done for another season.

Our totals:
240 trays dried apples
88 qts apples
13 qts pears
7 qts green beans
90 qts tomatoes
And a few bags of frozen peaches and peas.

If our peaches and apricots hadn't have frozen, we wouldn't have had enough jars.

Truly Blessed!

Santa Clara Clean Up

On Sept. 11 the Santa Clara Dyke broke from extensive rain storms in Washington County.  Many homes and a few businesses were flooded and the wards were asked to go and help out where possible.

Dan and Joel went to offer their services and muscles.
They came home pretty muddy but with smiles for having helped those in need.
I love how Dan is always ready and willing to lend a helping hand.

Wagon Ride

Linkon and Liam play so well together (from what I see anyway).
Linkon is already the kind older brother.
Getting a smile out of this boy however, is quite a task.  He's as solemn as they come but still SO CUTE!
Our grandsons are the best!

Family Night

Kami & Zack were down from Tooele for a couple of job interviews so we decided to have an extended family night.  Everyone was there but our missionaries (Nathanial & Devon) and our Northern Utah kids (Erik and Kylie & Greg).
We had a baked potato bar for dinner and then mostly just visited while the kids played.
We ended the evening with a game of "Oh Well" with those who stayed later.
Amanda won ;(
My family has pretty much out-grown our home as you can tell.
Joel & Trish and family all squished together on a 3 person couch.
Fun evening.
