Twas the Most Wonderful Day of the Year!

We found this tree 2 days after Thanksgiving on the old dirt road going to Enterprise.  I was ready to give in to whatever, but Shaun and Kendyl persevered and found this beauty.  It is about 12 feet tall and was a PAIN to decorate.  The angel tipped about an hour after I put the ladder away and I decided to let her stay that way for the rest of the season.
Christmas was a slice of heaven this year.  We had all of our family sleeping under our roof (except for Rob who had to work the night shift at purgatory) on Christmas night.  It was hard to say good-bye when everyone left.  Kylie and Greg aren't in this picture since they were visiting Greg's parents on Christmas Eve.

Christmas Day fell on Sunday this year.  We had a Christmas Breakfast and then went to church.  We opened our gifts afterwards.
I wouldn't mind having a "Sunday" Christmas every year.
Fun to have Erik with us for a couple of days.  He will be a good daddy...someday ;)
I felt bad for Kari not having Rob with her but she and her little boys were able to spend Christmas afternoon with him.
Yea!  Another shirt!
Shaun wanted good stuff for his future kitchen.  So he got a nice grill set...now he just needs a nice wife to go with it ;)  Kidding Shaun...couldn't help it!
Linkon loved opening his presents and he was in Erik's lap for most of the time.
All the computer nerds playing a game on the computers.
It was good to see them having fun.

The Johnson's

It's been awhile since my mom has been with all of her siblings at once but for the big Johnson Christmas party, they were all there.
It was a great time and a cherished memory.
 All of my mom's siblings.
Mom, Norman, Evan, Matthew, Mark and Linda
Mom is the eldest.

A few weeks prior to this, Uncle Matt had a heart attack, open heart surgery and then was back in the hospital with pneumonia.

We were SO grateful to have him with us.!
