Kambree's 18th Birthday

Happy 18th birthday Kambree!  

We had to pull out another table to seat everyone who came to celebrate.

Charlotte Patterson, her long time childhood friend joined us for the celebration.

Steak, broccoli rice a roni, broccoli & cauliflower w/ cheese sauce and rolls was her dinner of choice.

And of course, Heath Cake for dessert!

Aimmy Panpallin Arrives

Dan & I decided to have a foreign exchange student for a year.  

We were given the opportunity to have Aimmy Panpallin join our family from Thailand on Aug. 7.  

She arrived during Katelyn & Clel's wedding Pre-ception.  

It was a crazy night to welcome her but she was a trooper and did well.

Once the wedding was over, we involved her in as many things as we could so that she'd feel at home and not so homesick.  She was amazing and was eager to try new things.

We were grateful for an extra hand at loading the apples in the dehydrator. 

This is a portion of the group of exchange students that came to St. George with Aimmy.

We had a luncheon with close family in Matt & IvaLou's carport in Middleton. 
It was very nice and a lot of fun

Katelyn and Clel "Pre"ception

What a beautiful and fun day it has been today!  

We decided to try a Pre-ception for Katelyn's and Clel's marriage tomorrow so that we could just enjoy the day at the temple and not be rushed.  It turned out PERFECTLY!!!

My dearest friend, Leslie, was our decorator.  We had been gathering pallets, and little mementos for a few weeks.  We got together and painted them and she put it all together.  It turned out so nice.  

   I loved it!

My kids are so blessed to have such a hard-working, fun, and wonderful dad!

  

There's not much you can do in a cultural hall, but at least it was free :)

We served pies and ice cream for refreshments.

So grateful for the many kind friends and family who helped make it such a memorable evening.
Now we can wake up in the morning and enjoy the sweetest part of their marriage...
the temple...together forever!
