Owies :(

I really hate to post these pictures because it makes me feel sad, 

but all for the cause of documentation, I guess.

Dan was pruning trees and didn't even realize that a branch had got the better of him until he came inside with blood dripping from his forehead.

Our sweet little Axel had an allergic reaction to some medication.  

He had a hard and uncomfortable time.  Makes me tear up just looking at the pictures.

So grateful that he came out of it ok.

 

Magical Morning

Wow! Just Wow!!! What a fun thing to wake up to.  Such magical beauty.  Diamond Valley is the best!

 

Valentines

After lunchtime today, and with the help of my girls, we helped the daycare kids make 

Valentine Bags so they could share their Valentines with each other.  Charlotte Chrisiansen, Beckett Barnum, Josh McGuire, Axel, Annie Scovil, Jaden McGuire, Jordan White, Wesley Christiansen, Brookie Bowler. Bjorn or Packer in the high chair?

It was fun having a few of the grandkids there too :)

Shaun's Senior Recital at DSU

After 4 years of hard work and guidance from such amazing instructors, 

Shaun had his Piano Senior Recital. 

 It was so wonderful and I was a very proud mama. 

 I am often amazed at the talents that our kids have, especially since I'm such a mediocre type.

Luke Bell & Abby's Wedding

Luke Bell married his sweetheart from before his mission at the Salt Lake City, Utah Temple.

The luncheon was held on the top floor of the Joseph Smith Building

 so the view of the temple was perfect.

Their reception was in the State Capitol Building.  

I felt very distinguished being in such a beautiful place.  It was such a wonderful day with family!

Jordan is missing since he is serving a mission.  

Kambree and Kendyl were also able to hang out with Kylie and her boys (Axel and Bjorn) 

at the Gateway Mall.

Katelyn Adjusts to life after Mission

It's been good to see Katelyn adjusting since being home from her mission to Argentina in October.

Our ward youth had pretend mission calls and went to various homes in the ward to learn about missions from some of the returned missionaries.  Brittny Christensen and Brynn Brown came to our house with Kendyl for an evening of dinner and testimony from Katelyn.  It was a good night. 

Katelyn's "new" old car.  Her first ever car of her very own.  I hope it lasts awhile!
